These re-render existing sites, and the power of 3G makes mobile browsing not only fun, but practical.
Still, not all site translate well to the smaller mobile device screen. So, what makes a mobile friendly site? Well that is why the W3C has launched the mobile web initiative (www.w3.org/mobile) last April. You'll find Nokia, Ericsson, Orange and smaller companies pooling their experience of how to make the web more mobile friendly.
Check out their mobile tips (www.w3.org/TR/mobile-bp) which give clear practical advice on making your site accessible for mobile.
