The app's main focus is messaging, providing a simple way for users to text their friends at little or no cost. The app features free messaging with Voxofon users and cheap SMS messaging to any mobile phone via Voxofon's Bridge Messaging Technology. In addition, users can make cheap (on average 50% less than Skype pay-per-minute rates) international calls by initiating phone-to-phone calls, which will connect the call on any phone.
By utilizing the Windows 8 tile layout, Voxofon makes it easy for users to quickly view and reply to recent messages, or select a new contact to reach out to. Voxofon also integrates seamlessly with Snap. Users can drag the Voxofon app to the left or right sidebar to continue chatting with their friends while they are using other applications.
Voxofon features:
- Free Messaging with Other Voxofon Users
Users can message other Voxofon friends for free through the Voxofon app available on Android, iPhone, Windows Phone, and Windows 8 Tablets, or through Voxofon.com. - Cheap SMS Messaging with Friends on Any Device
Users can chat with friends on Windows tablets, smartphones, and regular mobile phones via Voxofon's new Bridge Messaging Technology. - Cheap International Calls
Users can call loved ones abroad by initiating phone-to-phone calls through the Windows 8 app. The app will ring the user's phone, then connect the user to their destination at call rates up to 98% less than major carriers and around 50% less than Skype pay-per-minute rates.
The new, free Voxofon app is available through the Windows Store. Download it today by clicking here. New users get their first call free.
