Sisvel gründet LTE-Patentpool

- Gemeinsames Lizenzprogramm soll Zugang zu grundlegenden Patenten verbessern

LONDON, 5. November 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Sisvel hat einen neuen Patentpool eingeführt, der verschiedenste Lizenzen für grundlegende LTE-Patente enthält – den neuesten Mobilfunkstandard, der gemeinhin als 4G bezeichnet wird. Zu diesem Portfolio gehören Patente der EADS-Tochter Cassidian, der China Academy of Telecommunication Technology, des Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute sowie von France Telecom, TDF und KPN. Hinzu kommen weitere Patente, die ursprünglich von Nokia angemeldet und Ende 2011 von Sisvel übernommen wurden. Allen Unternehmen, die sich im Besitz von grundlegenden LTE-Patenten befinden, steht der Pool weiterhin offen. Sisvel arbeitet kontinuierlich mit weiteren Unternehmen zusammen, die ihr Interesse an einer Mitgliedschaft in der Gruppe bekundet haben.
