SANTA CLARA, Calif., Nov. 5, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Marvell (Nasdaq: MRVL) today announced it has received the 2012 Strategic Supplier of the Year Award from Yulong Telecommunication, Ltd., a professional provider of integrated solutions for smartphone handsets, mobile data platform systems and value-added business operations. The award recognizes Marvell's excellent technology support, product delivery and response times, as well as dedicated China R&D capabilities. During 2012, Yulong and Marvell's strategic collaboration resulted in seven new affordable, global smartphones – including the Coolpad 8180, 8150 and 8022 – and millions of units shipped to Chinese consumers. Yulong honored Marvell, with its Strategic Supplier Award at a Nov. 2 ceremony held in Shenzhen, China.
