The program can be set to close after the conversion is complete, or paused and restarted as desired. In cases when the input video aspect ratio does not match that of the output, the tool will automatically trim the edges of the input video to ensure it takes advantage of the output device’s full screen.

While there are currently several open source programs that offer a degree of this functionality, they are often unreliable and do not cover the same breadth of formats as ACDSee Video Converter Pro 3.
