Param 24-7 XS Technologies Corporation (“Param 24-7 XS” or “the Company”), the developer of integrated systems (hardware & software) to allow entry into premises using mobile phones as an alternative to keys, is pleased to announce that it has been chosen by Barcelona Activa, the local development agency of the City Council of Barcelona, as one of four companies they are sponsoring to be part of the Smart City Innovation Zone at the forthcoming Smart City Expo World Congress.
Param 24-7 XS was selected because it has developed systems that provide a solution to the challenges of urban transformation in the real estate sector. “We are privileged to be one of only four companies being sponsored by Barcelona Activa. Our selection is an affirmation of the innovative solution we have brought to the Smart City concept by enabling access to properties at any time, day or night,” said André Vanyi-Robin, Chief Executive Officer.
The Company’s integrated systems improve the efficiency of gaining entry by:
- Allowing remote and secure opening of any door using a mobile phone
- Providing audit trails with respect to all traffic in and out of properties
- Enabling suppliers and others to gain access to properties 24-7 when owners or estate agent are not present
- Resulting in a more dynamic and strategic framework for efficient property management
André Vanyi-Robin, Chief Executive Officer, explained that, “this system significantly reduces costs for the company selling or renting dwellings, and removes all key duplication process. The systems provide guarantees with very high security. Furthermore, the real estate companies can use the analytics the software platform generates. Param 24-7 XS offers a variety of information about potential customers such as popular viewing times or details on the customer’s housing preferences.”
Param 24-7 XS Technologies is one of the eighteen Catalan companies to have been selected to participate in the Smart Zone Innovation, under the Smart City Expo World Congress, held in Barcelona from the 13-15 November 2012.
Barcelona Activa is the local development agency of the City Council of Barcelona. Created in 1986, this municipal company was born as a business incubator with 16 projects installed. Today, Barcelona Activa has become a local and international reference in the support for entrepreneurs, innovation, professional improvement and creation of employment.
