In case you missed it, Verizon re-entered the world of Windows Phones yesterday with the launch of the Windows Phone 8X by HTC and Nokia Lumia 822. Windows Phone 8 released its first hardware back on October 29, with companies like AT&T launching their own models featuring Microsoft’s mobile OS in the following weeks. But Verizon’s 8X by HTC is the only variant of the phone that currently supports wireless charging, which is something that almost no phone offers. AT&T’s Lumia 920 is still king of the Windows phone market, though, with reviews dubbing it the most powerful, feature-rich Windows phone available. While it doesn’t have the amount of apps as iOS has or the overwhelming market share that Android enjoys, Windows Phone 8 is a new, sleek alternative in the mobile arena. For those of you who are getting tired of Android and iOS, Windows Phone 8 is the first iteration of Microsoft’s mobile OS that’s worth checking out. I know I’m interested.
