Visible World and Main Media announced today their partnership for a new model of deploying customizable TV advertising. Historically, the Adtag® & Adcopy® service, available from all major MSOs in the United States and powered by Visible World targeting technology, has only been used by co-op advertisers on a market-by-market basis. Main Media has created the first nationally organized co-op Adtag® & Adcopy® campaign on behalf of their clients.
Visible World’s technology for Adtag® & Adcopy® allows advertisers to efficiently tag television ads or change ad copy with cable zone-specific information such as local sales representatives’ names, physical retail locations, and channel identification. Hundreds of advertisers have been using Adtag® & Adcopy® for years to deploy thousands of customized TV ads per year. Main Media and Visible World have advanced the way that co-ops organize national TV ad campaigns. By organizing and planning nationally across roughly 20 major markets, Main Media has deployed a uniform, seamless co-op model that delivers the right co-op ad to the right cable zone.
“Truthfully, Visible World has offered us a whole new world of business, creating a solution to a problem that we have had for years: how can we lower our cost per point for unique programming available on cable, tag the creative with a customized co-oped commercial, and traffic it in hundreds of zones with a high degree of accuracy? The answer is—buy Adtag® & Adcopy® and run your traffic through Visible World,” says Charlie Maines, president of Main Media. “This ability to buy Adtag® & Adcopy® interconnects as a co-op not only saved us time and money, but also offered our client a much lower cost per point than buying zone by zone. These lower costs were passed along to their agents and resulted in additional participation and use of their co-op. A win/win/win for all of us.”
“Main Media’s forward-thinking leadership has streamlined the co-op process,” says Seth Haberman, CEO of Visible World. “Visible World is delighted to have helped them increase the efficiency and effectiveness of their client’s campaign across so many markets.”
Adtag® & Adcopy® is the gold standard for template-based TV ad customization, enhancing campaigns on local cable for hundreds of advertisers. With this new model of agency-organized multimarket co-op campaign, co-op advertisers can unify messages at a national level while targeting them at a local level. Main Media’s leadership combined with Visible World’s technology will increase effectiveness while decreasing costs for advertisers nationwide.
