JamHub's BandLab™ is a cloud-based DAW designed to give musicians secure, plentiful storage for multi-track recording sessions and the ability to upload, edit, mix, and leave feedback from any device, such as laptops, tablets, or mobile phones. BandLab breaks through the bottle-neck of traditional single computer home recording, giving bands the freedom to collaborate in a new and exciting way.
BandLab™'s primary features include:
- Safe, Secure Storage – Users upload full multi-track files to the cloud, where they will remain safe from computer crashes, catastrophe, hardware changes and upgrade incompatibility.
- Mobile Mixing – a full-featured cloud-based DAW that goes anywhere, BandLab™ boasts a simple interface that puts all the controls right at the user's fingertips, whether you're using a computer, tablet or smartphone.
- Collaboration and Access – With BandLab, the whole band is free to participate in the mixing process, creating new mixes without ever damaging the original files, all from their own device on their own time. BandLab™'s Notification and feedback systems facilitate creative conversations that make recording and mixing more like the collaborative songwriting process.
"JamHub Studios allowed musicians to play better because they could hear each other better, and play anywhere silently," said Steve Skillings, JamHub's president and CEO. "With BandLab™, JamHub will help musicians record and collaborate like never before. It's a straightforward recording system that never asks you to compromise your creativity or stifle your schedule. With today's gear, musicians are restrained by one computer, one user."
