REDWOOD CITY, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 01/03/13 -- ASSIA, Inc., the leading provider of high-performance software tools for dynamic spectrum management (DSM) of digital subscriber line (DSL) and Wi-Fi networks, today announced the appointment of Anthony Hill as Senior Vice President, Global Sales. Hill brings more than 20 years of global sales and account management expertise from leading telecommunications and professional services organizations, including Nokia Siemens, Hewlett-Packard, and Verizon.
In his past positions, Hill managed global sales and services organizations with up to $5.5 billion in revenue. As regional vice president, West and South Europe for Nokia Siemens Networks, Hill generated over $750 million in revenue across 30 countries selling to 400 customers. During his tenure as Hewlett-Packard Enterprises' account executive at Vodafone, Hill was a key member of an executive group that won a $2.5 billion IT managed service contract. At Verizon Wireless, where he was vice president of the wireless data and Internet services division, Hill drove revenue from $35 million to over $100 million in 18 months. Hill received an MBA from Harvard University and a bachelor of science in business administration from California State University, Northridge.
