Truphone, the pioneering international mobile operator, said today that business users have responded so enthusiastically to the 25-percent discount in its “World on Sale” promotion, that the offer is being extended until March 31.
“The World on Sale” offer, which gives international business travelers discounts of an additional 25 percent off Truphone’s already compelling standard mobile rates around the world, had been set to expire on December 31.
“We’ve been very pleased with the reaction to our promotion from U.S. companies that send employees outside the country for business,” said Gary S. Cohen, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Truphone Americas. “Let’s face it: business travelers need to stay connected while abroad - and the response has been so positive to the opportunity to make big savings on calling, data and SMS usage around the world that we’re extending our offer until March 31.”
“The discounts remain in effect for the full term of contracts signed before March 31 2013, and customers will still have the option of cancelling at any time within the first 90 days with no penalty or further obligation,” Cohen said.
Offering business-class voice, data and SMS service in more than 200 countries, Truphone helps businesses reduce costs of communicating internationally with a mobile phone. The company supports leading smartphones and uses a range of unique innovations to offer significant savings to business people making calls, sending texts and accessing data networks when home or abroad.
The service delivers a superior user experience, reduces costs and actively stimulates a greater level of connectivity with international contacts – whether at home or abroad.
Truphone’s service works with all major mobile devices. Its “Blackberry™ Pack,” offer is especially rich for BlackBerry users who travel internationally. The plan includes a generous allocation of voice, text and data, and features unlimited BlackBerry email across the entire Truphone network of more than 200 countries.
