GroveWare Technologies Ltd. (GROV) – a provider of enterprise mobile solutions connecting workforces by mobile devices, is pleased to announce a technology services agreement with Latex Construction Co., based in Atlanta, Georgia. Under the terms of the agreement, GroveWare will supply its revolutionary mobile data collection and communication technologies (MobiTask™) in the field for Latex Construction, allowing the company to simultaneously increase efficiency and worker safety.
Introduced to GroveWare by Business Solutions partner Verizon Wireless, Latex Construction, specializes in Pipeline construction, under contract with Atlanta Gas Company, is qualified to do business in 37 states and enjoys one of the largest bonding capabilities in the U.S. with a stated emphasis on worker safety. GroveWare will assist Latex Construction using its MobiTask™ app which allows Latex field operatives to better enforce safety compliance and reporting onsite through a broad spectrum of mobile devices. The technology enables Latex Construction to create a paperless exchange of critical data from the field to the cloud where it can be recalled as needed.
“This is a critical step in the execution of our business plan,” states GroveWare Technologies CEO, Hrair Achkarian. “The agreement gives us our largest account to date in an industry clamoring for greater efficiency and safety which is populated by well over five million workers and over 750,000 companies. Not only does this agreement add yet another vertical to the markets we’re servicing but it will also provide a template and substantive case study to use when prospecting other potential clients. And like our previous construction industry accounts, this deal is designed to generate recurring revenue over a term of 3-5 years, contributing to construction related revenue we expect to exceed $2 million in 2013 alone.”
“It is becoming evident that our technology is a game changer for the construction industry,” said Achkarian. “MobiTask™ effectively prevents data loss by eliminating paper and allows the company to communicate to insurance companies and regulatory bodies in a much more efficient way, simultaneously reducing liability, fines, and other penalties while generally improving worker safety site-wide.”
