PHOENIX, AZ -- (Marketwire) -- 02/12/13 -- Carbon Credits International Inc. (PINKSHEETS: CARN) announces its purchase of SinglePoint's name, a name recognized and known throughout the industry as a pioneer in the mobile messaging market. With the acquisition of SinglePoint's assets, Carbon Credits International Inc. will obtain the use of the Copyright and trademark on the name SinglePoint, as well as the domain name of the former mobile messaging and advertising company.
"SinglePoint" once dominated the broadcast media space for mobile messaging. They were known for their high volume message routing platform that was uniquely developed for supporting the mobile industry's high volume SMS campaigns including: Deal or No Deal, Red Cross Haiti campaign, Obama '08 campaign, Beijing & Vancouver Olympics, American Idol and many others. Carbon Credits International will gain this high volume message routing platform to be utilized in conjunction with its current technologies.
Carbon Credits International Inc. has also acquired SinglePoint's SMS campaign management tool, which was used throughout broadcast media for creating and managing mobile campaigns for top brands including: NBC, MTV, CBS, Univision, WA Post, Fuse, and others.
