MENLO PARK, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 02/13/13 -- InVisage Technologies, Inc. -- a Silicon Valley-based start-up that is revolutionizing the image sensor market -- today announced it has received its Series D round of venture funding, led by GGV Capital and including Nokia Growth Partners. The undisclosed amount will be used to begin manufacturing the company's QuantumFilm image sensors, which are currently being evaluated by phone manufacturers. Devices incorporating the technology are expected to ship in Q2 2014. GGV and Nokia Growth Partners join InVisage's existing investors RockPort Capital, InterWest Partners, Intel Capital and OnPoint Technologies.
