Action Systems, Inc. (ASI), makers of the Restaurant Manager POS system for the foodservice industry, and Mercury®, a leading provider of payment processing and revenue generation solutions, today announced the commercial availability of the Restaurant Manager POS customer loyalty module featuring an interface to MercuryLoyalty™.
“This integration means Restaurant Manager users can reach their customers in new ways; using social media, email, and text messaging to drive more new and repeat business,” said Alex Malison, CEO of ASI. “The program is fully integrated with Restaurant Manager POS meaning it will be easy for restaurateurs to launch and manage.”
With MercuryLoyalty, restaurant patrons need only give a cell phone number to sign up and start earning points. They then receive a text message with instructions on how to fill in the rest of their information at their convenience. This simple process makes it easy for restaurant operators and their customers to reap the benefits of a loyalty program. Restaurants can take advantage of outbound marketing tools to increase repeat business and average checks, while restaurant patrons get to enjoy rewards for eating at their favorite places.
Mercury is pioneering the concept of “Social POS” with its mobile loyalty solution, allowing merchants to use their POS system as a powerful social and mobile marketing tool. After implementing the MercuryLoyalty program, restaurateurs have rapidly built their customer database and realized dramatic increases in sales.
“We are proud to add MercuryLoyalty to our list of mobile POS offerings,” said Lisa Wilson, Managing Vice President at ASI. “With mobile solutions like the Write-On Handheld wireless ordering and payment system, and the RM Monitor remote reporting app, we are the leaders in mobile point of sale technology. A mobile customer loyalty solution is a natural fit for us.”
