Foodler Makes It Easier Than Ever for Android Smartphone Users to Order Food from their Favorite Restaurant

Foodler, the online food ordering service that connects consumers with the widest variety of restaurants for immediate delivery, today announced its free Android mobile app is now available on Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.foodler.android.foodlerapp. Similar to its iOS app available on iTunes, the new Foodler Android app allows users to quickly order from the best restaurants and cuisines according to the person’s preferences and location. Foodler now enables people to order the food they love when they want it within a simple, streamlined interface from almost any smartphone.

With roughly 80% of the smart phone market in more than 190 countries, the Android platform is thriving. Foodler provides Android’s millions of users with fast, free and reliable food delivery or pickup at their convenience. The app’s “Best Bets” feature prioritizes food options by individual tastes and past orders, so that users can make informed choices on specific dishes via Foodler’s user-generated, 5-star rating system. Over time, Foodler learns each user’s unique preferences and is able to make insightful recommendations on the dishes and restaurants they may enjoy. This functionality gives consumers looking to expand their culinary palates confidence to order food from any restaurant on Foodler and know they are going to enjoy it. What’s more, each order earns Foodler points that can be redeemed by users for free food, merchandise, gift cards and more.

“We are extremely bullish on the influence of the smartphone on the future of food delivery,” said Foodler Co-Founder and CEO Christian Dumontet. “Now that we have both Android and iOS apps available, just about everyone with a mobile phone today can order a delicious meal in seconds from anywhere – on the way home from work, sitting in traffic or at a party.”

Foodler has service in more than 3,000 cities across 48 states in the US, and recently expanded to Vancouver, Canada. The Foodler app will be able to geo-locate users and offer food options that are available to them at that place and time. Menu exploration, food ordering – including custom orders – and payment now require just a few swipes and taps on any Android phone. Those new to Foodler only need to create an account with basic information; existing customers simply log-in and their account info and past orders are immediately available.
