In this session Kevin introduces desktop virtualization technologies, present real enterprise use cases, and explains the challenges to be addressed when applying these solution in a corporate IT environment.
Speaker Bio: Kevin Brown is President & CEO of Kidaro. Prior to joining Kidaro, heserved on the original executive team of storage security firm Decru, where he led worldwide marketing, business development, and product management. Brown helped the company achieve #1 market share and global adoption across the financial services, healthcare, telecommunications, manufacturing, and government sectors. Following the $272 million acquisition of Decru by Network Appliance, Brown was named to the Network Appliance Information Governance Board, where he helped shape the company's policies relating to compliance, security, and intellectual property protection.
Previously, Brownwas a key member of the founding team of Inktomi, a pioneering infrastructure software firm, where he served in a number of executive positions, including Vice President and General Manager of Inktomi's networking business. He's a Fellow at UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business and earned his Bachelor's and MBA degrees at UC Berkeley.
