ANN ARBOR, Mich., Jan. 10 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Corland Publishing has launched its third publication, Green Fuels Forecast (http://www.greenfuelsforecast.com/). This public online magazine and companion monthly e-newsletter provide breaking news, analysis and original reporting on the global renewable vehicle fuels industry, including developments in E85, cellulosic ethanol, biodiesel and other fuels fortified with biomass.
Green Fuels Forecast is the first open-access, web-based publication to present all sides in the debate over the commercial, technical and agricultural triumphs and challenges presented by renewable fuels. Topics include infrastructure, science, supplier trends, consumer and marketplace acceptance, agricultural/environmental perspectives and the energy industry's effort to bring biofuels to the market. The new site includes original content detailing how automakers are developing powertrains of the future and profiles of new startups chasing the technology behind clean fuels, all while helping consumers understand how renewable fuels will change what and how they drive.
"Green Fuels Forecast provides automakers, suppliers and the public a platform to understand the technology that will power our vehicles in the future," said John McCormick, executive editor of Green Fuels Forecast and president of Corland Publishing. "We focus on the critical intersection of transportation, agriculture, science and commerce, while enabling readers to learn about all sides in the debate on renewable fuels."
Automotive journalists Scott Anderson and Sam Abuels amid oversee editorial development for the publication as editor and technical editor, respectively.
"While the alternative fuels industry is still in its infancy, it's growing up very quickly with the help of unprecedented private investment, government incentives and powertrain advancements from the automakers," Anderson said. "The mission of Green Fuels Forecast is to separate the wheat from the chafe on these issues and trends in order to help industry insiders, engineers and ultimately, consumers, make informed decisions."
Corland Publishing also has announced the addition of a YouTube channel to capture all videos posted on its online magazine websites. Beginning Sunday, January 13, 2008 visitors can search "Green Fuels Forecast" at http://www.youtube.com/ or visit http://www.youtube.com/greenfuelsforecast to reach the latest video highlights, event coverage and in-depth interviews.
