GAITHERSBURG, Maryland, 4 de junio /PRNewswire/ -- ¡Hola!, lectores de Romance. ¡Prueben un poco de salsa con su lectura de ficción ahora! MyRomanceStory.com, el principal sitio de fotonovelas románticas en línea hará su debut en español, a tiempo para esos días cálidos y noches sensuales. Conjuntamente con las fotonovelas en español, Queridamia.com ofrecerá populares columnas sobre estilos de vida, tales como "Descubra sus Signos Románticos" y "Pregúntele a la Dra. Charmaine". Asimismo, se incluirán versiones originales en español.

"El Partido Del Amor," la primera en lanzarse, será presentada en varios capítulos, de manera muy similar a las populares telenovelas latinas. Otras historietas serán difundidas en segmentos sucesivos cada día.

"Los países latinoamericanos han tenido siempre una historia de fotonovelas románticas", dice White. "Ahora las estamos ofreciendo en línea."

Según Cheskin Research, una empresa estadounidense de mercadeo, en el 42% de los hogares hispanos hay una computadora, y se calcula que el 48% de los hispanos con acceso a Internet compraron un libro o una revista en línea por lo menos en un periodo de tres meses. De acuerdo a Romance Writers of America, el mercado de literatura romántica tuvo una venta del 4 mil millones de dólares en 2005.
